ACIC：GTE化身的SOP

澳洲大學申請時，一般是『不-需-要』SOP的，但是：

因為澳洲移民部把篩選『意圖進入澳洲移民』、『意圖滲透到澳洲非法打工』的權力，下放到各級學校。當您在『申請學校』時，學校會要求您填一份GTE表格，然後把這份表格，遞交給移民部！所以，請申請澳洲各級院校的申請人要認知『澳洲SOP或GTE表格』填寫的嚴正性。

澳洲學校申請時～通常是送進申請之後，會彈出來要求您補件～要求的SOP(讀書計畫)，跟英美的學校要求不同。這份聲明是依照澳洲移民部DIBP的要求，來支持您成功的申請到澳洲的學生簽證！依照澳洲移民部網站明示規定，即使您是透過仲介申請學校，本份聲明書仍然必須由申請人填寫，甚至有些學校規定要『親筆手寫』！

當您在申請簽證時，移民官『可能』會打電話做核實的動作～～尤其是在澳洲當地延簽、或在澳洲當地轉學生簽證、或是特定地區～～如果您跟簽證官的回答，與您寫的GTE不符：例如：您在GTE中說明讀完書您要回台找外商工作，但是面談時您說回來要接掌爸爸的公司，那您簽證肯定會被拒！

不要掉以輕心：台灣雖然是位屬一級的低風險國家，但在澳洲當地的『被拒簽率』，已經攀升到6.7％了！請大家小心應付！ 即使您拿到入學許可，只要SOP-GTE聲明書回答的不夠理想，澳洲移民部仍會拒絕核發學生簽證給您！

以坎培拉公立TAFE CIT提供的範例為例：

Your statement of purpose must include the following information.

1. Personal information 個人基本訊息

1-1 Your name and date of birth

1-2 Are you married? If yes:

• how long have you been married?
• do you live together?
• do you have children?
• will your spouse/children accompany you to study in Australia?

1-3 Do you have relatives in Australia? If yes:

• where?
• how are they related to you? for example: ister/brother/aunt/uncle/mother/father

2. Your motivation for study in your chosen course 來讀書的動機

• What course are you applying for?
• What is your interest and motivation to apply for this course with this school?
• How have you prepared for this field of study with this school?
• How does the this school course you have chosen relate to your background (your work experience, previous education or future career goals)?
• What do you intend to do on completion of your studies with this school?
• What value will the completed course have on your future career?
• If you have completed your last educational qualification more than a year ago, what have you been doing since that time?

3. Evidence of independent research 您搜尋申請資料的證明

Provide evidence of the independent research you have completed to find out more about your CIT course content and subjects. What research have you done on alternate study options:

• in your home country
• at other providers in Canberra
• in Australia
• in other countries.

4. Why CIT and Australia is a good fit for you 為何CIT這個學校是您的適合選擇

4-1 Why did you choose to apply for the course with this school rather than study at another Educational provider you have researched:

• in Canberra
• in Australia
• in other countries
• in your home country.

4-2 How does the cost of studies with this school compare to study elsewhere in:

• in Canberra
• in Australia
• in other countries
• in your home country.

4-3 How do you plan to fund your study, accommodation and living costs in Australia?

4-4 What do you know about this city as a study destination?
