There two types of wireless internet, one uses the Modem (Portable), and one uses a card (Roaming).

Portable is you can go online at home without a phone line, just need to connect to the modem, and the modem will get Internet access wirelessly.

Roaming is you put the card into your laptop, and you can carry the laptop around, say on the bus, and you can still get Internet access.

對不確定是否能帶入澳洲的物品就主動申報，這一點十分重要，申報全部物品要比被檢疫處沒收物品並被罰款或監禁好多了。AQIS迫切要求到達澳洲的乘客協助檢疫，並主動做到：
• 正確填寫入境旅客卡 (Incoming Passenger Card)
• 申報所有食物、藥材、植物材料和動物製品—如果不確定就申報；並且
• 把申報物品放在一件行李中便於檢查。

所有到達澳洲的郵件都要經過掃描檢查，如果您期望收到海外親友的禮物，請提醒他們正確申報包裹中的所有物品。
